Wednesday 25 April 2012 being held at the Stirling Management Centre, University of Stirling
The conference, which is being supported by the Scottish Diabetes Group and Scottish Government, is focussing on improving the quality of care for inpatients with diabetes. There have been a number of guidelines developed recently with the aim of standardising the management of those with diabetes whilst in hospital. This one day event will focus on the guidelines and their recommendations, and will include a number of presentations regarding the practical implementation of the guidelines in a clinical setting.
The event will also provide an opportunity for interested parties to submit a poster on the management of diabetes in hospitals, for entry into a competition. All posters will be shown at the event and will be judged on the day, with a small prize being presented to the winner.
