Friday 27 April 2012 being held at the Stirling Management Centre, University of Stirling

The conference, which is being organised by the Scottish Government Health Directorates, Cancer & Long Term Conditions Unit in collaboration with Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) and Heart Disease Managed Clinical Networks (MCNs) is hosting a Heart Disease Learning Forum. It will provide an opportunity to take stock of the achievements of the existing MCNs, and to showcase examples of good practice and/or service delivery that addresses the Heart Disease Action Plan Priorities and/or HIS Heart Disease Clinical Standards.

The event will also provide an opportunity for a wide variety of Stakeholders across Scotland to submit a poster celebrating success in relation to the Heart Disease Action Plan and Clinical Standards. Each posters submission will be reviewed prior to the event and on the day all posters displayed will be placed into a competition whereby the delegates will have the opportunity to chose 'best poster'.
